Is Gridform really free?
Yes. There is no trial, no card and no paid tier, and nothing you export carries a watermark.
Do I need an account?
No. Open it and start. You agree to the terms once on your first visit, and that is all.
Where does my work go?
It stays in your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose an AI feature or the stock-photo picker, and clearing the site’s data erases it.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes. You own what you make; Gridform claims no ownership of it. Just make sure you have the rights to any photos or fonts you bring in.
Do the AI features cost anything?
They are optional and run on your own key, sent straight from your browser to the provider, who bills you directly. Everything else works without them.
Does it work offline?
After your first visit the editor opens without a connection, and so do the studios you have opened before.
What can I export?
PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, SVG and vector PDF for print and screen, plus MP4, WebM and GIF when your design moves.
